Bio
Justine Giannino is an independent producer with 12+ years experience, developing an exciting slate of television and audio projects. She is currently working with Seven Summits Management to develop with their client roster. She specializes in helping IP find homes, developing ideas with creators and packaging projects.
From 2019-2020, Justine was the director of development at Avalon Television (Last Week Tonight with John Oliver). She was responsible for Avalon TV's oversight on the Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show (Netflix), and was the lead executive finding intellectual property for the company and their clients.
Prior to Avalon, Justine was the booking manager for Tina Brown Live Media / Women in the World. She was responsible for the arrival of 106 speakers from all over the world to Lincoln Center over the course of three days. She was the talent booker and producer of Tina Brown’s podcast “TBD WITH TINA BROWN” (Wondery). The show had guests like Hillary Clinton, Abby Wambach, Felicity Jones, Rosamund Pike and more.
Justine spent four and a half years as the manager, original programming at IFC TV. She was a current series executive for Emmy Award-winning Portlandia, Emmy nominated Documentary Now!, and the Film Independent Spirit Awards from 2015-2018. She worked on all east coast development projects and oversaw the creation of multiple original web series & acquisitions for IFC’s The Comedy Crib. She produced 20+ live comedy showcases over the course of four years.
She was named to Cablefax’s 30 under 30 list in 2015 and is a proud board member of the Hollywood Radio & Television Society Associates of New York and member of The Podcast Academy.
